You know you think you have everything under control sometimes. Lately I have been thinking “Nothing can hurt me, nothing can bring me down.” The reason being that I really am happy. I choose to be, no matter what. Still, things creep up, and eventually I noticed my happiness was ripped away, piece by piece, right from under me. I can’t get it back on my own. Oh my, how I have been trying! I will pray about it, though, and God will make clear what I need to do. He always does. If only I can make myself do what He says straightaway. That’s the real issue!

Here’s another that I liked from this weekend, “Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.” Romans 4:7 Why? Because, what a big relief it is! Ya, it might feel nice to be forgiven by people you have hurt, but what about things you do that you know are wrong, for which you can’t make an apology? Like- hurting someone who died, or someone you can never talk to again because of a move or something? To have that weight lifted, forever style- that’s gold. I know, this is a big topic.
